  1. What is the Consumer Panel Online ?

    Consumer Panel Online is an online research panel where smokeless tobacco users, like you, can provide opinions on how to improve different products and services.

    We want to better understand how to make your smokeless tobacco use more enjoyable. Consumer Panel Online allows you to share your opinions and potentially improve smokeless tobacco for everyone!

  2. Who can participate?

    Individuals can participate if they reside in the USA, are at least 18 years of age, and have joined the panel by successfully completing the initial Consumer Panel Online survey.

  3. How do I join the Consumer Panel Online ?

    To be eligible to participate in Consumer Panel Online, you will need to complete a questionnaire that details your usage of smokeless tobacco and other information about you and your household. Once this questionnaire has been completed, you then become eligible to participate.

    There are two ways to join Consumer Panel Online. You can either reference the e-mail invitation you might have received with the link to the recruitment survey, or you can Click Here to access the questionnaire.

    The Consumer Panel Online takes privacy seriously. You can find more information regarding our policies at the Privacy Policy page. If you have any additional questions directly relating to the privacy of this panel, e-mail us at Consumer-Panel-Online@markettools.com.

  5. How is my personal information used, and what happens to my responses after I submit them?

    Your personal information is used to create a respondent profile and to track how many surveys are being sent to you. Your respondent profile determines which research studies best match your background and expertise.

    When you complete a research study, your responses are compiled, along with those from other panel members, into a research report that is used to make product and service decisions. Your responses will also remain inside the Consumer Panel Online and will be attributed to you so that we may follow up appropriately with additional surveys and communications.

    Please note: this is not a marketing program; no marketing material will be sent to you as a result of joining this panel.

  6. How often will you contact me to participate in a Travel Insights Panel research study?

    Panel members will be invited to participate in research studies via e-mail on a periodic basis, averaging about once a month. Please add Consumer-Panel-Online@markettools.com to your email's safe sender list to ensure you recieve emails from the Consumer Panel Online.

  8. Are there special rewards/incentives for participating in the panel?

    Yes, at our discretion we will offer rewards for respondents who participate in some of these research studies. You will be provided information regarding any special rewards or incentives prior to participating in a research study.

  9. How do I unsubscribe from the panel?

    To be removed from the Consumer Panel Online please go to the My Account page of this website and enter your email address and password. Then select 'Cancel Membership'.

    You can also send an e-mail with the word "remove" in the subject line to: Consumer-Panel-Online@markettools.com. We will promptly update your preferences; however, you may receive previously initiated invitations during that period.

    Also, each e-mail invitation you receive will have an opt-out link at the bottom, where you can opt yourself out of the panel.

  10. When does the survey close?

    When we have received enough responses from panelists on any given survey, we close it so that we may evaluate the feedback. We are sometimes unable to give a close date in the invitation because it is difficult to predict exactly when we will have enough responses to close the survey. Make sure you respond quickly!

  11. I recently completed the first survey to join the panel, but I have not yet received a confirmation email. What should I do?

    After completing the initial survey, it can take up to 15 business days to upload the information and send your confirmation e-mail. If you do not receive your confirmation e-mail within 15 business days, please contact us at Consumer-Panel-Online@markettools.com.
